Bananas and Gout?

Here is an interesting video about Gout and Bananas. Did you know that bananas can help reduce the levels of uric acid and help reduce the symptoms of gout? The high levels of vitamin C and potassium counteract the uric acid and reduce swelling and pain. Watch the great video below from a registered dietitian:

  1. since gout is primarily caused by uric acid. i cut down my intake of nuts.
